The purpose of this applet is to clear the contents of the following folders: 1. C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USERNAME\Local Settings\Temp 2. C:\Windows\Temp 3. C:\Temp — Doing so manually can be time consuming, especially if you have a lot of files and folders in there. |
This cleaner is great for use with Install Shield Errors 1316, 1603 & 1706 The applet loops through all the files and folders contained in the temp folders and determines if they can be deleted. If they can, they are and if they cannot, they are left behind.
Requirement: Windows XP (Home/Pro/Media, SP1 or 2)

V1.1 addition of a “Process Complete” dialog box.
V1.2 addition of C:\Temp and C:\Windows\Temp
V1.3 addition of ability to empty recycle bin at the end of the process.
